Organizational change often causes stress, confusion and frustration for employees’ workers and managers alike. The challenge is even more prominent for an organization which goes through large scale system implementation.

History has shown that many organizations failed in the large I.T. system implementation such as Financial Management Information System (FMIS) not due to the functionality of the systems itself, but it is always due to the mismanagement of people and resources pertaining to the change. Hence large investment on I.T. project can only make sense when it is supported by a bullet proof’s Change Management Strategy and Change Management Work Plan and with thorough implementation.

The intent of the FMIS Change Management Plan is to serve as a road map to address challenges and to define the mechanisms for identifying, evaluating, deciding, tracking possible changes and understand and resolve the real issues behind resistance to change which impact by the implementation of the FMIS Project and all related activities and deliverable.
