Recently FMIS Project in Cambodia has been moving in a snail pace as the oversight to complete the FMIS Procurement by the end of this year missed the target and will not end in early 2011. However to save the day, the IT Department has tried all its best to implement the catalyst core activities such as Business Process Reengineering, Change Management and Communication and Capacity Building for the FMIS Technical Teams and FMIS stakeholders from MEF’s line departments and MEF’s line ministries. Besides these catalysts activities, IT Department also works cohesively with the premier line departments such as General Department of Nation Treasury for the update of chart of account, Budget Department for the Budget classification and Budget entities.
