Development Partner Applauds on the Implementation of FMIS in Cambodia
During a meeting on “Monitoring the development of implementing Public Financial Management Reform Program Phase III of the third term in 2017” that was held on Thursday, 04 January 2018 at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The representative of our development partner to Cambodia applauds over the implementation of FMIS Phase I and the progress of Phase II that is being implemented along with the line ministries.Meanwhile, the development partners also applauds over key achievements of the government of Cambodia in their accomplishment, especially the revenue accumulation and success in implementing FMIS Phase I and their progress in FMIS Phase II.
The meeting was held half a day with the honorable presence of H.E Academician Aun Pornmoniroth, Senior Minister and Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and also the Chairman of Public Financial Management Reform along with other development partners, representatives from line ministries, focusing on monitoring the development in implementing the financial management information system program Phase III of the third term in 2017. The report of PFM of the third term in 2017 reflects on the development of strong progress in the income accumulation, efficient and more goal-oriented expenditure, the implementation of the 7 budget classification and the progress in implementing FMIS Phase II that is being implemented along the 10-line ministries in 2018.
