FMIS on Mission to scout location, and identify FMIS users at other 10-line Ministries
In accordance to having a successful FMIS implementation of phase II plan in 2018, FMIS management working group (FMWG) will go directly to site-survey with the objectives of collecting information, scouting location, and identifying FMIS end-users at 10 line- ministries to use FMIS in 2019. FMIS management working group will have 3 main tasks to work on at the 10 line-ministries:
- Studying current business process in order to analyze and prepare To-be Business Process on 4 modules, including Budget Allocation (BA), Purchase Order (PO), Account Payable (AP), and Account Receivable (AR).
- Studying actual location at site survey for storing IT equipment to prepare network, studying of electricity supplies in the building and,
- Studying location of top management and government officials who are going to use FMIS system to connect network to Data Center and Data Recovery center of the system.
FMIS Management Working Group will go on site-survey to 10 line-ministries as the following schedule:
April 23, 2018: Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Ministry of Public Works and Transport.
April 24, 2018: Ministry of Rural Development and Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction.
April 25, 2018: Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Commerce
April 26, 2018: Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology and Ministry of Information.
April 27, 2018: State Secretariat of Civil Aviation and Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans, and Youth Rehabilitation.
In Addition, FMIS management working group (FMWG) of Ministry of Economy and Finance rolled out FMIS system to 10 line-ministries in 2018, including Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Civil Service, Ministry of Post and Telecommunication, Ministry of Women’s Affairs and Ministry of Industry and Handicraft. Furthermore, in 2019 the FMIS system is rolled out at 25 provincial-municipal Departments of Economy and Finance and 10 line-Ministries including Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Information, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans, and Youth Rehabilitation, Ministry of Tourism, and State Secretariat of Civil Aviation.
