IMF Experts Conduct Workshop Training on Cash Planning and Cash Forecasting
Experts of International Monetary Fund (IMF) is conducting a workshop training on “Cash Planning and Cash Forecasting” to officials who are working on cash planning at all general departments of Ministry of Economy and Finance, held on 30th-31st October 2017 at Economy and Finance Institute.
The training has a solid purpose of building capacity and advancing knowledge of government officials who are now focusing on the implementation of Public Financial Management Reform Program (PFMRP).
Amongst the trainees, there are 10 officials from Information Technology Department participating in this essential training which will enable them to implement and manage FMIS project more effectively and efficiently.
Likewise, under public financial management reform program, the royal government of Cambodia was able to improve on collecting domestic revenue reaching cash surplus. Additionally, the implementation of revenue collection strategies with high efficiency has helped increasing revenue collection from 15.3% to 18.5% of GDP in 2013 and 2016.
