Provincial Departments of Economy and finance Welcome FMIS
Kompong Thom, Preah vihear, Siem Rap, Modolkiri, Rathanakiri, and Stoueng Traeng: “ I welcome and agree with all requirements, and provide proper users to each module of the system and location for storing equipment which FMIS management working group require to check technically. This is Mr. Sok Sophal’s speech, director Department of Economy and Finance (DEF) of Kompong Thom province during the mission of studying Business Process to DEF from 12nd to 16th March, 2018.
Top management and all levels of the related officials of Economy and Finance Departments of Kompong Thom, Siem Reap, Mondulkiri, Rathanakiri, and Stueng Traeng expressed their supports to General Secretariat of FMIS Management working group set on the mission to study business process at provincial departments of Economy and Finance.
The full supports of this provincial departments of Economy and Finance has shown that related officials have perceived the importance and other outcomes of FMIS as well as an effort of the working group in building confidence from users and all related parties.
Like the previous mission, General Secretariat of FMIS management working group has collected some inputs such as current workflows on revenue and expenditure transactions and purchase order (commitment and procurement), security Matrix, organizational structure and also duties segregation. Furthermore, infrastructure and Intranet team have already checked the location for storing equipment for users and location for putting Data Center and existing electricity level at each Departments.
Under Management and assigned roles, FMWG is able to ask related parties and also receives information as well as proper and enough documents as a foundation in preparing system and identifying users. The Working group has never forgotten to thank to all related parties who support and push the project to keep moving forward. Overall, the mission to 6 provinces above was successfully and fruitfully accomplished.
Meanwhile, Infrastructure team also checked the equipment and exchanged users’ computers’ UPS of 6 provincial treasuries. Moreover, FMIS management working group would continue their mission to 7 provincial-municipal Departments of Economy and Finance started from March 25, 2018 to April 7, 2018 in order to collect above inputs.
