Success in identifying the users at the 10 new Line Ministries
FMIS system will be installed at the 10 new line ministries (LM) and at the Provincial and Municipal Department of Economy and Finance at the beginning of 2019 after having installed the system at 10 LM at the beginning of 2018.
FMIS Management Working Group of the Ministry of Economy and Finance went on a mission to these 10 new LM in order to identify the users, organize the business process within the system, determine the rack location, organized a change-readiness-assessment and change-impact-assessment through studying the current business process. The mission began on the 23 until the 27 April 2018.
During these mission, the top management, officials and relevant stakeholders as well as FMIS working group at every ministry had warm-heartedly welcomed FMIS working team and had enable the team to attain sufficient information.
Upon the completion of the mission, the top management as well as the officials who will be using FMIS received enough information, understood the system and the modules better.
It’s important to note that FMIS Management Group of the Ministry of Economy and Finance had installed FMIS system to 10 ministries, namely, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Work and Vocational Training, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Public Work, Ministry of Post and Telecommunication, Ministry of Women’s Affair and Ministry of Industry and Handicraft. While in 2019, FMIS shall be installed at 25 Municipal-Provincial Department of Economy and Finance and at 10 additional ministries, such as the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, Ministry of Public Work and Transportation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Information, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Ministry of Social Affairs, Veteran and Youth Rehabilitation, Ministry of Tourism and State Secretariat of Civil Aviation
